In the AGTEC Program you'll learn that problem solving relies on a basic strategy that includes problem identification, collection of information, and evaluating solutions to achieve a goal. Your instructors will help you tackle these concepts using computer software, information technology, and critical thinking skills. Majoring in AGTECH will provide you with real-world instruction using resources that afford the greatest balance between leading-edge technology and its full productive use.
Throughout your courses, you'll learn to organize and manage environmentally sound, technology-based agri-businesses. You'll learn the skills and techniques required to plan and direct industry or business projects in agriculture using technology to produce optimal results.
Your career opportunities are state, national, and international in scope. You may choose from career activities such as these:
