Regional Fire Academy
Do you want to be a fire fighter? The Fire Academy meets the state curriculum requirements for certification as a basic firefighter in Texas. Most fire departments require applicants to complete the necessary training for a basic firefighter before they take a fire department entrance exam. Students accepted into the Fire Academy must also complete the Basic Emergency Medical Technician course in order to receive state certification.
