They keep up with issues and trends in the field through their participation in organizations like the Community and College Consortium for Health and Safety Training, the Hazardous Materials Training and Research Institute, and the Partnership for Environmental Technology Education.
Our Environmental Science Technology Program isn't limited to a few classrooms and labs. While in the program, you'll have the chance to have many experiences like taking geology field trips or working with Texas Parks and Wildlife. You might also do water sampling at Gonzalez Creek and Hubbard Creek Lake and go "geocaching" [treasure hunting with a global positioning system (GPS)] in the area.
